立式淬火爐表面淬火只對工件的表面或部分表面進行熱處理，所以只改變表層的組織,而心部或其它部分的組織仍保留原來的低硬度、高塑性和高韌性的性能. 這樣工件截面上由于組織不同性能也就不同。表面淬火便于實現機械化、 自動化，質量穩定，變形小，熱處理周期短，費用少，成本低。

立式淬火爐設備采用耐熱不銹鋼做風道,料架采用高速起升,3～6秒內進水池.爐蓋電動推桿升降,嚴格密封，使工件材料與外界空氣隔絕，在加熱、保溫過程中，爐內有高強對流風機，爐內形成強對流循環，促使爐溫均勻，爐內各點溫差可控制在1℃內，從而使退火材料獲得均勻一致的物理機械性能。

Vertical quenching furnace uses heat - resistant stainless steel for air duct, material rack is raised at high speed, only need 3-6 seconds to get into water channel. In the process of heating and heat preservation, there is a high strength convection fan in the furnace, and a strong convection circulation is formed in the furnace, which makes the furnace temperature uniform. The temperature difference of each point in the furnace can be controlled within 1℃, so that the anneal material can obtain uniform physical and mechanical properties.
